Lagniappe: Cincinnati's Traditional Cajun-Zydeco Band

Lagniappe: (adj.) meaning "a little something extra" in Cajun French, is exactly what you experience when you see a Lagniappe show!

The band consists of musicians Chico Converse (fiddle, vocals, saxophone), Chris Carmichael (guitar, trumpet, vocals), Dick Franz (accordion), and Yvan Verbesselt (percussion, drums, rub board). Also with the band (not in this picture, but pictured below) is John Mooter  (keyboard, cornet, slide trumpet, trombone)  and Jessie Berne (clarinet, violin, bass, and other instruments)

Lagniappe plays an eclectic mix of traditional Louisiana style Cajun music, New Orleans Jazz, Zydeco, and Eastern European tunes.  Come experience a Lagniappe show! You'll travel to Louisiana and beyond, without having to pack your bags! Laissez les bons temps roulez!
